Paradise Lost

Description

In this production, Saskia Meulendijks investigates the role of the woman in theatre literature. The proposition is: ‘The history of theatre is a part of the marketing-machine that oppresses women and minorities.’ The production consisted of the twelve most iconic scenes in drama from ancient Greece to the present day, performed by actors of different ages, skin colour and gender.
